Kaiseree D.

A public health researcher with eight years’ experience of leading and completing research projects in both academic and local authority settings. I have worked on a range of different topics where my interests and expertise include children’s health, physical activity, and health inequalities. I am keen to gain writing, editing, and proofreading experience outside of my normal area of expertise. Experience: • Writing, editing, and proofreading skills through writing project proposals/protocols; ethics and grant applications; data sharing agreements; reports; journal articles; and my doctoral thesis • Writing academic research findings for journal submission – examples can be found in my ResearchGate profile, including two first author papers from my doctoral research • Conducting literature reviews and extracting data for a Cochrane systematic review • Recruiting research participants and collecting data using quantitative (e.g. online questionnaires) and qualitative (e.g. interviews) methods • Collecting, managing, analysing, and interpreting data using STATA and NVivo with both primary and secondary datasets • Developing and delivering teaching/training materials to postgraduate research, MSc Public Health, and undergraduate medical students • Delivering oral presentations to audiences across academia and public sectors
