Maida K.

I edit vlogs and podcasts for creators who want their audience to feel something, not just watch something. I'm Maida. I've spent years in the edit bay turning raw footage, long vlogs, weekly podcast episodes, behind the scenes clips, into content people actually finish watching. Not because of tricks. Because the pacing, the story, and the emotional beats are handled with care. Why creators bring me on 1. I edit for connection, not just polish. Vlogs live or die on whether the audience feels like they know you. I cut for that, the pauses that matter, the reactions that land, the moments that make a stranger feel like a regular viewer. Podcasts are different. They live or die on flow. I tighten dead air, sharpen transitions, and make a ninety minute conversation feel like forty without losing what made it good. 2. I think about retention while I edit, not after. Every cut I make, I'm asking myself if this earns the next ten seconds. For vlogs that means hooks, pacing, and honest storytelling. For podcasts that means knowing when a tangent is gold and when it's dead weight. I'm not just trimming a timeline. I'm shaping how someone experiences your voice. 3. I'm a second brain for your content, not just a pair of hands. You're already doing the hardest part, showing up, recording, being yourself on camera or mic. My job is to take that raw material and make sure it doesn't lose anything on the way to the feed. If something in your format isn't working, I'll tell you gently, like a friend would, not with a deck. If you're a personal vlogger, YouTuber, or podcaster who wants an editor who actually watches the whole episode before touching it, let's talk.
