Full-Stack + AI Engineer | Next.js | TypeScript | AWS | LLM | RAG
Full-stack and AI engineer who ships production systems that hold up under real scale and real correctness requirements — not just a slick demo. For the past several years I've built the hard parts: high-volume data pipelines, AI/LLM features that stay trustworthy, and the backend infrastructure underneath them. Most recently I owned the legal-research and court-data vertical at OurFirm.ai, a legal-AI startup — building citation-verification tooling, hybrid-search research services, and ingestion pipelines spanning all 204 U.S. federal courts (1.7M+ cases, 17M+ pages) and 820K+ SEC filings. Before that I was a solutions architect at AWS and Apollo GraphQL, designing GraphQL-federation architectures for companies like Pinterest, The New York Times, and Marriott, and a platform-engineering consultant at Marriott. What I can build for you: --> Full-stack products — Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, from idea to production. --> AI/LLM features that actually work — RAG, vector/hybrid search, agentic workflows, and evaluation harnesses with fail-closed quality gates so outputs stay reliable instead of hallucinating. --> Backend & data pipelines at scale — high-volume ingestion, cost-aware rate limiting, circuit breakers, AWS + Terraform infrastructure. --> APIs & integrations — REST/GraphQL, third-party data, and the unglamorous plumbing that just has to be correct. How I work: clean, well-documented code; architectural decisions I can defend; and a bias toward correctness over "close enough." I communicate clearly, scope honestly, and I'd rather flag a problem early than paper over it. One more thing that sets me apart: I'm also a licensed attorney and former litigator. If your product touches law, contracts, compliance, or regulated data, I speak both languages — you won't have to explain the domain twice. If you're building something where the details actually matter, let's talk. Background: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (2021); Apollo Graph Developer – Professional; JD, Rutgers Law; licensed attorney (NJ).
