I am a former Principal Scientist (A*STAR Singapore) and Adjunct Associate Professor (National University of Singapore) with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and 25+ years of experience in nanomaterials for energy, environment and biomedical applications. I have experience in colloidal chemistry (surfactants, microemulsions), and polymers that are useful for designing new formulations in consumer care industries. Project Grants: I have acquired a wealth of project management skills from different leading roles as a Lead Principal Investigator (Project Director) for a grant at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE, Singapore), and served as a Project Leader and Principal Research Scientist at A*STAR Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN, Singapore), and developed diverse nanomaterials. International Research Experience and Fellowships: I am the recipients of Alexander von Humboldt (Germany) and JSPS (Japan) fellowships.
