3 axis, 4 axis and 5 axis programmer, as well as designer from a job shop that sees everything from parts for a local farmer to parts going into satellites. I have experience with vacuum work holding, vise work holding, dovetail work holding, custom fixture design and machine work holding, rock lock systems, soft jaw machining and work holding. Both full simultaneous and indexed 4 and 5 axis programming/machining. Experience with many different materials, for example: uhmw, delrin, torlon, peek, aluminum, brass, bronze, 304 ss, 416ss, 17-4ph stainless, 4140 and 4140ph, a2 and d2 annealed and hardened, molybdenum. I have experience with many different machine tooling, including: through tool coolant, through air tooling, standard air blast and standard flood coolant tooling. Experience with cut taps, form taps, and thread milling both standard and custom threads. Experience using both 4 and 5 axis tab strategies. Experience with high speed steel and carbide tooling, as well as high feed mills for harder materials and tooling for hardened materials.
