I am a skilled and experienced academic researcher with an interdisciplinary background in art history and anthropology. For my doctoral project and subsequent curatorial work I have undertaken first-hand collections research and documentation in different museums and archives in the UK and Europe. My research focus has centred on colonial histories in Africa, with particular attention to ethnographic and photographic collections from Central Africa. I have substantial experience conducting literature reviews and maintaining databases. My work with Seshat Global History Databank means that I am adept at creating and managing large datasets for digital humanities projects.
