If you're building in Costa Rica, or running a U.S. project from somewhere else, you already know the problem. Permits sit on someone's desk for weeks. A contractor stops answering, and the budget drifts while nobody's watching. That's where I come in. I keep projects moving. I'm a bilingual (English and Spanish) project and operations coordinator in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. I've spent more than 10 years in real estate development and hospitality, and I work U.S. business hours. Most of what I know about development I learned at Farmstead Collection, 13 titled ocean view homesites on Costa Rica's South Pacific coast. I've been there since 2020. I handled the land purchase and got the zoning and building permits through the municipality, then kept the engineers and contractors on one schedule until the roads, drainage, power, water and fiber were done. When the developer started Villa del Cielo, a custom villa on the property, I managed the build for 10 months. That meant paying contractors and suppliers, sourcing materials, giving input on the design and keeping the investors up to date. I also built them a dashboard to follow the budget, schedule, permits and risks, with separate views for the investors and the manager. Since March 2025 I've been Operations Manager at Costa Casa in La Fortuna. I manage an investor's 12 vacation rentals and work on growing their revenue on Airbnb, Booking and Vrbo, timing repairs and upgrades around vacancy windows. I also keep a vetted list of 20+ properties for his next purchases, some of them off market. For four months I was Chief of Staff at a real estate capital markets firm in Texas, where I ran the founder's calendar and inbox and built the firm's Zoho CRM automation. I set up the HubSpot CRM for Farmstead's lot sales too. Lately I build my own tools with Claude and Google AI Studio. Two of them, a listing generator and an investor platform with Costa Rica permit roadmaps, are in my portfolio.
