My background is in linguistics and international communication. I have worked in international companies, hiring staff, writing and translating business correspondence. Additionally, I have been teaching English and Russian to foreign students of different ages. This work has been inseparable from translation experience. As an example, I have helped a student, who is a yoga trainer, localize her course for English-speaking clients. Also, I have been involved in translating materials for a website for foreign learners of the Russian language, Choot-Choot-Russian, and have published a book of grammar exercises on Amazon Kindle. A few years ago, I contributed my translation to TED Talks as a volunteer. I am a native Russian speaker, fluent in English, and currently studying Spanish. I am interested in applying my translation skills to projects related to education, healthy lifestyle, or travel.
