Hi! I'm Julieta Ortiz. I'm a social worker. I worked as an operator at the 144 national hotline of the Former National Ministry of Women, Genders, and Diversity, providing support, advice, containment, and accompaniment to women and individuals from the LGBTIQ+ community experiencing gender-based violence. Also, I was a volunteer at the civil association "La Casa del Encuentro," a space that provides psychological, legal, and social assistance, and supports victims of gender-based violence. In this role, I worked with a team of lawyers, psychologists, and social workers, interviewing women victims of gender-based violence and providing them with weekly follow-up. I have experience in tutoring children and adolescents in primary and secondary school in the Padre Mugica neighborhood (Villa 31), supporting them in their formal educational process and involving their families. Additionally, I have experience in planning and coordinating neighborhood group meetings, as well as organizing activities to promote the rights of women and LGBTIQ+ individuals. Furthermore, I have experience in customer service at a front desk.
