I also designed and implemented a 360° performance review cycle from scratch, supported managers through difficult performance and team conversations, and proactively identified patterns in employee feedback before they escalated. Earlier in my career, I worked in a highly regulated, unionised environment supporting 500+ employees, including employee relations, attendance management, disciplinary processes and communication with union representatives. I'm also currently working in a Partnership Manager role, which has strengthened another side of my professional toolkit: building relationships, understanding stakeholders, communicating confidently with different audiences and developing long-term professional partnerships. I see this experience as complementary to HR — because great People professionals need to understand both people and the business. I also continue to work in training and education, further developing my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different personalities and create engaging learning experiences.
