Satyam S.
Software Engineer | AI Agents & Automation | Python, Go, TypeScript
I build SaaS backends and full-stack web applications with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, Python, Golang, Next.js and React. I also handle AI integration and automation, including the custom services needed when a workflow outgrows its standard connectors. Top Rated | 100% Job Success | Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate A lot of projects start with "just a dashboard." Then come the permissions, subscriptions, scheduled jobs and the API that sends the same event twice. That's usually where I'm most useful. BACKEND DEVELOPMENT & FULL-STACK DELIVERY I work with Node.js, NestJS, Express, Python/FastAPI and Go (Golang) for REST APIs, backend services and custom business logic. Authentication, role-based access control, multi-tenant SaaS, Stripe billing and third-party integrations are all part of the job. For the data layer, I use PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis, with Prisma or Drizzle where they fit. I think through the schema, indexes, transactions and read/write patterns so the application has a sensible foundation as usage grows. I also build the frontend with Next.js, React, TypeScript/JavaScript and Tailwind CSS: dashboards, admin panels and product interfaces. You can hand me a complete feature, from the database changes to what the customer sees. SYSTEM DESIGN, BACKGROUND JOBS & PERFORMANCE I build job schedulers, asynchronous processing and durable workflows that can recover after failure. With BullMQ, RabbitMQ and background workers, I plan for retries, duplicate events and concurrency so a restart doesn't leave the process in an unclear state. Sometimes a slow query is the problem. Sometimes CPU-heavy work is blocking Node's event loop, or a service is spending most of its time waiting on external APIs. I investigate before choosing caching, async workers, goroutines, parallel processing or a separate service. I work with monoliths and microservices, and shared code in monorepos. For distributed systems, I think through workload, data boundaries, consistency and failure handling. You'll get a clear explanation of what needs changing and what the extra complexity buys you. DEPLOYMENT & PRODUCTION RELIABILITY I handle containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes where needed, and deployment on AWS or GCP. GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines run tests, quality checks and builds before deployment. Logging, monitoring and error tracking are part of the implementation, using tools such as Pino, Prometheus and Sentry. Failed jobs need to be visible, releases need a recovery plan, and retries need to be safe. A webhook arriving twice shouldn't become a surprise on someone's invoice. AI INTEGRATION & WORKFLOW AUTOMATION I integrate OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and Azure OpenAI into applications and business processes. That can mean an AI assistant, document extraction, lead qualification, reply generation or a feature that uses your own business data. For knowledge-based assistants, I work with RAG, embeddings, vector search and pgvector. I think through what information the assistant can access, how conversation context is handled, and when a person should take over. The work includes the services around the model: API contracts, input validation, permissions, error handling and a sensible cost and latency budget. An AI feature needs to fit the rest of your product. For workflow automation, I use n8n, self-hosted n8n, Make (Integromat) and Zapier for CRM updates, booking, invoicing, reporting, messaging and customer support. When the workflow needs custom functionality, heavier processing or tighter control, I can add a Node.js, Python or Go service, or move the relevant part into code. I choose the approach around the business rules, workload and maintenance needs. HOW I WORK You can come with a new product, an existing codebase or a workflow that's become difficult to manage. I get familiar with what's there, ask about the business rules and make the scope clear before building. You'll get direct explanations, progress you can follow and code you can maintain. I also push back when a simpler approach will get you the same result. There's usually enough complexity already without ordering extra. Send me what you're building, what already exists and where you're stuck. I'll explain how I'd approach it, what needs clarifying and where I can take ownership.
