For more than a decade of working, my goal is to help the client on their road to success. Giving them peace of mind and work life balance. Recently, I was a case manager for Skilled Nursing Facilities. As part of the Revenue Cycle Management my tasks includes securing Authorization through Insurance portals, Eligibility check using Seek and other Insurance tools, processing claims, following up appeals and denials through QIO (Acentra-Kepro and Livanta) , maintaining accurate patient records on EMR and making sure that facilities, patients and Insurance companies have a seamless communication. I was also a Executive Assistant for a Telemedicine Company where I oversee the CEO businesses and different departments. I manage his emails, appointments, staff payroll and I'm the point of contact of the Doctors and Marketing companies. Before the CEO promoted me as his EA, I was a Patient Intake Specialist where I take calls for patients chief complains, insurance details and medical history. It includes securing doctor appointments and assisting the process for DME and lab test kit referrals. Another part of my Healthcare journey is being a Healthcare Recruiter. I used to handle the staffing needs of 15 Nursing homes and a chain of Home health services. Mostly are caregivers and Registered Nurses. I created materials for job postings and sourced out applicants from Indeed US, Monster, Linked In and Social Media platforms but we have a main tool that is integrated to all this job hiring sites which is APPLOI. This where I communicate, schedule interview and screen applicants resumes. For back up files, I still keep records in Google Drive and Google Calendar. It is always fulfilling helping individuals land a job. Daily, I had an average of 5hires for each Nursing homes. Before I became an Independent Contractor, I used to work in a Call Center. For five years I worked as a Debt Collector for JP Morgan Chase Bank and Synchrony Bank. I negotiate with delinquent customers to zero out their balances. Also communicate and settle with Debt Settlement Companies and Law Offices that represents the customer. My work as a Customer Service Representative open doors for all the skills I've acquired. When I was 19 years old I started working and my first job was a Customer Service and Technical Support Representative for DISH NETWORK. Aside from CS, I also did Billing , Payment processing and Sales. I will not forget the fun I had working as Order processing Specialist with Online Shopping (Kohls and Amazon), AVAS flowers and Patricia's Petals. I was a Reservation Specialist too for Hotel and Flights (Expedia, Travelocity and Hotels.com) wherein I made the customers travel memorable by recommending packages that will fits their budget. Learning is a bottomless source of opportunity and the process, the journey of it is beautiful. That's why I enrolled for Amazon Virtual Assistant Course to gain different skills. Recently I'm diving into accounting materials to gain more knowledge. I want to be fully armed for my future clients in case they might need insights or this kinds of service. I'm a fan of doing extra mile. As your Virtual Assistant you don't have to worry because my priority is to free you so that you can focus on your other obligations.
