Heidi M.

I bring a unique combination of expertise in curriculum development, education, literacy, editing, and proofreading, supported by years of professional experience and academic training. My background includes designing comprehensive, standards-based curricula tailored to diverse educational settings, from Montessori and international schools to public education. I specialize in creating structured training pathways and competency frameworks that align with developmental milestones and educational objectives, ensuring content is both engaging and effective. As an experienced educator with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and certifications in Kindergarten through 8th grade, I’ve worked extensively in literacy development, supporting learners and educators alike. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Literacy Studies, which deepens my knowledge of instructional best practices and enhances my ability to craft meaningful learning experiences. My passion for promoting literacy extends to developing programs that improve reading comprehension and writing skills, as well as providing professional development for educators to implement these strategies. In addition to my educational expertise, I am skilled in editing and proofreading, with a strong focus on refining content to ensure clarity, engagement, and adherence to goals. My experience includes developmental editing, where I enhance structure, tone, and flow, as well as meticulous proofreading to ensure grammatical precision and consistency. Whether I’m transforming a rough draft into a polished document or designing materials that resonate with diverse audiences, I am committed to delivering high-quality, impactful content.
