I help healthcare organizations transform operations, analyze complex data, and conduct rigorous research and evaluation to inform practical decisions. My work sits at the intersection of healthcare leadership, analytics, and health services research. I bring more than 30 years of experience across hospital and ambulatory operations, health information technology, quality improvement, data infrastructure, and organizational transformation. I have served as interim COO and CIO and have advised rural hospitals, safety-net organizations, clinics, and multi-site systems. My experience includes leading major EHR and digital transformation initiatives, building enterprise analytics and reporting capabilities, improving revenue cycle performance, redesigning clinical and administrative workflows, and translating findings into executive-level recommendations. Selected results include reducing emergency department length of stay from 300 to 100 minutes, improving a CMS Star Rating from 3.0 to 4.5, reducing accounts receivable days from 120 to 52.5, and generating $1 million in annual savings through infrastructure modernization. My current research examines rural health systems, Medicare payment reform, healthcare spending, access to care, delivery-system capacity, and geographic variation in healthcare outcomes. I also serve as a peer and proposal reviewer in health services research, public health, healthcare quality, and health information technology. Clients receive more than an analysis or a report. They receive a structured approach that integrates the data, methodology, operational environment, policy context, and implementation constraints. My goal is to produce work that is methodologically defensible, clearly communicated, and usable by healthcare leaders, researchers, and policymakers.
