My academic journey commenced with pursuing the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, where I excelled academically and conducted significant research in pharmacotherapy and genetics. My PharmD thesis focused on the genetic aspects of childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia, earning me recognition as a “distinguished student in my university” and also “distinguished pharmacy student in my country”. After graduating from the PharmD program with a remarkable GPA (3.94 out of 4), I continued my educational journey as a resident of clinical pharmacy at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. My major research activities during the PhD program focused on the prevention of drug-induced kidney disease, an area critical to patient care. My research and academic excellence were acknowledged with top honors, including being ranked as “first in the Comprehensive Clinical Pharmacy Board Exam” and “Distinguished PhD Student of Tehran University of Medical Science”. I graduated from PhD program with an outstanding GPA of 4 out of 4. As a faculty member at Shiraz Pharmacy School for 9 years, I have dedicated myself to educate PharmD and PhD students, contributing to publish over 110 research articles, authoring/translating 5 books, and actively participating in more than 30 national and international scientific conferences, and supervising and advising 46 PharmD and PhD defended theses so far. My role as Vice Chancellor of Research and Technology of Shiraz Pharmacy School for more than three years has led to several achievements in research and technology. My dedication to education has been acknowledged through numerous awards, including the "Appreciated Educational Process at the 19th National Festival of Education in Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran in 2018”, as well as the titles of "Distinguished Faculty Member of Shiraz Pharmacy School in years 2018 and 2022”.
