I was employed as previously as a Structural engineer before changing to the role of Structural Technician/Draftsperson. My previous experiences overseas included civil engineering work. I am currently offering services for structural drafting & detailing using CAD software. I can turn instructional sketch details into a CAD format of your concept & template or I can design your CAD template in A4, A3, or A1 as per the given instructions. Most of my works focus on structural connection detailing for timber framing, steel framing, concrete or mixed materials, and, foundation detailings. As I am in NZ, I am using proprietary connectors from the manufacturer like Mitek Lumbelok, or, in case of no available connector, I can resort to custom connection details, subject for the approval by the signing engineer. - Expert level in the use of AutoCAD, BricsCAD & GStarCAD - Experienced in using Sketchup - Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint - MathCAD I can also transform handwritten calculations to MathCAD format and provide you the printable PDF format. I can, as well, create an Excel version of your handwritten calculations if you wish. These are the other skills I can offer on top of my drafting skills.
