Chōwa Consulting, LLC Founder and Principal Consultant Scott Brown brings three decades of experience in consumer goods manufacturing, financial services, non-profits, academia, community service, and board leadership. Functional expertise comes from his direct experience in supply chain, operations, sales, marketing, finance, project management, change management, quality, and continuous improvement. Prior to Chōwa Scott worked for Church Mutual Insurance and Briggs & Stratton Corp. in Milwaukee, WI and General Electric Appliances in Louisville, KY. Concurrent with his career at General Electric Scott also worked as an adjunct instructor in Political Science for Indiana University. Possessing master’s degrees in business administration and social science, as well as Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and operations certifications, Scott’s academic foundations complement his practical call to action. Scott’s avocational work has included serving on the Board of Directors for Central Wisconsin’s ASQ chapter and leading community service projects for the GE Elfun Society for 15 years. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee.
