Full Stack Software Engineer | System Architect | Distributed Systems

I have been creating software since the days of Borland Assembler and Turbo Pascal 3.3. My professional journey began with Delphi 2, and I have since developed solutions for various industries, including treasury management, warehousing, PCB manufacturing, and law enforcement. In 2002, I founded RemObjects Software with the aim of creating an advanced multitier development framework for Delphi. Our framework featured binary/soap/custom messaging, a cross-database backend with a unified codebase, and plugin support. We received multiple awards and were chosen for Project Dionysus, a Developer Express initiative offering a cost-effective alternative to the Enterprise edition of Delphi. One of our notable achievements at RemObjects was the creation of Chrome, the first Object Pascal compiler for .NET. Chrome was licensed to Embarcadero (later rebranded as Oxygene) and was part of their offerings from 2008 to 2012. Following RemObjects, I spent almost two decades at CODY Systems as a System Architect. Here, I led the development of COBRA, a real-time data replication system that aggregates data across thousands of police departments. COBRA was instrumental in establishing CODY as one of the top-5 leaders in law enforcement data-sharing, securing contracts against major competitors like IBM and Motorola. Under my leadership, COBRA was adopted by the State of Missouri and numerous departments across states such as PA, CA, AZ, and the Navajo Nation. I also led the redesign of CODY Express into a multi-tier smart client optimized for use in rural and low-connectivity areas, which was vital for its adoption by agencies like those in the Navajo Nation. Currently, I am the co-founder of Free Mind Labs, focusing on our new product, IntelliBlog. IntelliBlog is a minimalist open-source blogging system that incorporates generative AI, semantic search, and an innovative approach to DDD, CQRS, and Graph APIs. I am deepening my AI expertise in both the .NET and Python environments and have published several articles this year, including on the Microsoft Developers Blog. I am excited about the ongoing development and future possibilities of IntelliBlog. I am driven by a relentless pursuit of technological advancement, always aiming to push the envelope and deliver impactful solutions in the software industry.
