Wanderson O.
Front-End Developer | Vue.js, Quasar & Nuxt
I joined MyAbseil as a freelancer halfway through its Vue 2 → Vue 3 migration (the "Vue JS developer" contract in my work history). I led it to the finish line, and the founder ended up keeping me as the only front-end developer. Since early 2025, I've owned the entire front-end of the product. MyAbseil is a workforce management SaaS for rope access companies, used by clients in Canada, the UK, the US, Saudi Arabia, Australia and South Africa, in 8 languages. There I: • Migrated the app from Vue 2 to Vue 3 and from Tailwind CSS to Quasar • Built an offline-first mode (IndexedDB with Dexie.js) so team leads can check in, fill out forms and collect signatures on site with no signal, syncing automatically when they're back online • Moved PDF generation to the browser with pdfmake, reducing server load and report failures • Built public shareable links for reports, so clients no longer need to download and email PDFs • Turned the designer's Figma into reusable Quasar components and set up end-to-end tests with Cypress • Work directly with the founder and with clients, running demos and turning requirements into shipped features How I can help you: • Vue 2 → Vue 3 migrations • Quasar and Nuxt apps, including PWAs that work offline • Turning designs into clean, responsive interfaces • Fixing and improving existing Vue codebases I also spent 8 years as an officer in the Brazilian Army, leading teams and running operations on tight deadlines, so I take deadlines and communication seriously. I'm based in Brazil (UTC-4), with good overlap with US time zones. Send me a message about what you're building and I'll tell you how I'd approach it.
