Social Media Manager | Content Strategy & Creation for Brands and B2B

Most accounts I take over aren't broken. The posts go out, the visuals look fine, the captions are written. What's usually missing is everything that's supposed to happen after the post goes up, and the thinking that was supposed to happen before it. Before I write anything I go through the business itself: what it sells, who's actually buying it, where the business is right now, and what this specific piece of content needs to do for it. That's what shapes the caption every time, not a reused template. The calendar works the same way. I build the pillars first, then map the month against them, so there's a reason a post goes out on a Tuesday instead of a Thursday, and each week connects to the one before it instead of starting over. Someone should be able to scroll the last month and tell what the brand is about and where it's headed. Once something's posted I stay with it. I actually read what people write in the comments instead of sending the same reply to everyone, and I can tell the difference between someone being polite and someone showing real interest. The second kind gets a proper reply and a follow-up in DMs, because that's usually where the real conversation happens. Most accounts lose that person right at the point where they showed interest and nobody followed up. On the B2B side I run outreach next to all of this. Prospect research, verified lists, LinkedIn messaging, kept connected to what's actually being posted, so anyone who checks the profile after getting a message from me finds something that backs it up. Close to four years doing this, most of it working directly with founders and brands rather than through job boards. CaseFunders is one I can point to directly. Tools I'm in daily: Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Sheets, Excel, HubSpot, Notion, LinkedIn Sales Navigator. If you want someone to own this properly instead of sending you files every week, message me with what you sell and who it's for.
