San T.

I'm San Tan, a children's book illustrator with 4+ years of experience creating illustrations for clients worldwide. Working on Upwork has given me the opportunity to explore and adapt to a wide range of art styles, from chibi and manhwa to poetic, semi realism, whimsical, and commercial children's book illustrations. I specialize in creating complete, print-ready picture books from concept to final production. I create whimsical children’s book illustrations filled with warmth, emotion, and cozy storytelling, designed to make children feel inside the story, not just read it. I pay close attention to facial expressions, body language, lighting, and quiet moments so each spread supports the emotional flow of the narrative, especially in stories about family, belonging, and gentle life lessons.
