Ioanna S.

Summary I coordinate complex international projects for distributed teams. The work I do best sits at the centre of multi-stakeholder operations — pulling threads together, finding solutions, and turning a plan into a delivered result. Currently in my second year coordinating operations and projects across 8 international offices for an EOR (Employer of Record) and workforce solutions company, hired through Upwork. Recent deliverables include sourcing and contracting a new office at one-third the previous cost, building insurance and lease registers from scratch, designing a company-wide virtual team-building event, and co-leading a 120-person annual offsite with participants flying in from five continents. Before this, I led communications for USAID-funded programmes in Haiti (a $90M Feed-the-Future agricultural project, plus a $200M+ post-earthquake portfolio), MSF in Zimbabwe during the 2008 cholera outbreak, the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games (coordinating 25 National Paralympic Committees of the Americas + Spain over two years), and a $1M capital campaign for a US study-abroad institution. I produced and directed The Positive Ladies Soccer Club, a feature documentary that's been screened in 10+ languages. I'm available for project coordination, operations management, event delivery, multi-country implementation, and process design work. Native English & Greek, fluent Spanish & French, intermediate Haitian Creole. Dual US–EU citizen based in Athens; comfortable working US, UK, or EU hours.
