Antonino S.

I’m a WordPress & Shopify Developer & Designer! 15 YEARS !!! I began my career as a chef, diving into the fast-paced world of the kitchen, but soon realised that my real passion lay elsewhere. Rather than following the traditional culinary path, I redirected my focus to the organisational and strategic aspects of the restaurant business. I took charge of marketing and management, leading efforts to elevate the restaurant’s presence and operational efficiency. Driven to enhance my skills, I enrolled in evening courses where I delved into web design and programming languages like HTML, PHP with Laravel/WordPress, SQL/NoSQL, CSS, and JavaScript. My fascination with the tech world only grew, and what started as a small side project—building websites for friends’ businesses—quickly turned into a thriving pursuit. The demand for my work snowballed, and soon, web development was not only more fulfilling but more profitable than the restaurant industry. This natural progression led me deeper into the world of technology, where I eagerly took on more challenging projects, pushing myself to learn new languages and frameworks. Over time, my skillset expanded to include Python, Golang, Node/Nest, and advanced JavaScript techniques, complemented by experience in popular frameworks like React, Vue, and Angular. I also explored cloud solutions, becoming proficient in AWS and Microsoft Azure, and embraced DevOps and cloud computing, further broadening my capabilities. Today, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to each project, transforming ideas into impactful digital solutions. My journey from chef to developer has taught me the value of adaptability, discipline, and creativity—qualities I integrate into every line of code I write, ensuring that my clients not only meet their goals but surpass them.
