I am an Italian-qualified lawyer with over 15 years of professional experience and an LL.M. in International Commercial and Maritime Law. I am the co-owner of Scatamacchia Legal Firm, a family law practice, where I work alongside my father, assisting individuals, families and businesses with a wide range of legal matters. My practice covers Italian civil and commercial law, with particular experience in litigation, debt recovery, contract law, company law, banking law, property and real estate matters, inheritance and succession law, and Italian citizenship and immigration. I also deal with cross-border legal matters, including the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and acts in Italy (delibazione and omologazione), as well as international commercial transactions and trade law. Over the years, I have worked with private clients, companies, a financial engineering firm, a startup operating in passenger claims litigation and a consortium. My professional background also includes international exposure through a vacation scheme in London in the field of shipping and maritime trade. Alongside my work at the law firm, I provide legal consultancy to a financial engineering company, with a focus on civil law. I provide legal opinions, legal research, contract drafting and review, litigation assistance and tailored legal advice to clients dealing with legal matters under Italian law.
