I have over 4 years of experience in GIS and mapping, with a strong focus on the Google Maps Deviations Project, where I was responsible for identifying and correcting incorrect or outdated data to prevent misleading navigation. I worked on detecting real-world deviations, analyzing and simulating changes, and ensuring that the most accurate and up-to-date information was reflected on the frontend for users. Alongside this, I have hands-on experience with tools like QGIS, ArcGIS, Small world, and Google Maps for tasks such as address verification, road and runway labeling, MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) placement, and detailed mapping of landmarks, property boundaries, and neighboring streets. My background also includes telecom projects involving the removal of copper cables and the installation of fiber networks such as FTTP, FTTH, and FTTX, where I used GIS tools to import and export shapefiles, interpret spatial data, and support accurate telecom design and network planning.
