AWS Cost Optimization, DevOps architect/leader
Are you looking to cut your AWS costs without changing your processes? In need of an experienced eye to review and improve your CI/CD infrastructure? Want a (currently) cheap expert at the start of his gig career? 30 years as a DevOps leader/engineer form my technical foundation. I've spent the last 7 years working hands-on in AWS environments, applying AWS tools and techniques to optimizing DevOps environments. I've cut AWS costs between 5% and 25% at every company I've worked at. I have fun balancing infrastructure needs with AWS pricing strategies. Yeah, I'm weird that way. And actual AWS hands-on implementation keeps my technical chops satisfied. My first CI/CD pipeline was cron invoking bash scripts; Jenkins, GitActions, Harness, and many others have just been added to the toolbox. I helped 3 companies go IPO, have worked with companies employing between 13 and 30,000 employees, and deployed releases at every level from quarterly down to semi-daily. I've managed teams between 3 and 24. I speak tech nerdish and executive vision equally. I know how to identify the right environment for YOUR needs, not just rebuild what I did last time. But honestly, the design, documentation, and training are the fun part now. The actual implementation is no longer fun and will cost you more if you want me to do it.
