I design data-heavy products where complex logic has to become clear and usable: fintech and trading platforms, SaaS dashboards, and technical B2B tools. Right now that includes the UI and design system for an industrial controls platform, with mockups already earning strong end-customer feedback. Recent: ShadCN design system mapped 1:1 between Figma and production, 50+ dashboard screens shipped for a prop-trading platform, handoff accepted by the dev team in 5 review rounds. 6+ years in Product Design: UX architecture, information architecture, design systems, dashboards, production-ready UI, developer handoff and design QA. Recent work includes a CFTC-regulated US prediction market, a prop-trading platform, business banking flows with SCA authentication (PSD2), and consumer crypto products. I build shadcn/ui-based design systems with component structures that map cleanly between Figma and production, follow Radix and Tailwind conventions, and structure libraries for Storybook handoff: variants, states and naming map one to one. Typical engagements: restructuring a dense dashboard so users know where to look first, building a component library the dev team actually adopts, or turning a technical founder's rough requirements into a shippable product UI. AI-assisted workflow (Claude, ChatGPT) speeds up research synthesis, documentation and prototyping without touching design judgment. Based in Italy (CET): full overlap with European hours, available during US mornings. Case studies are in the portfolio below. If your product has one screen everyone complains about, send it over - I'll reply with a first-pass read of where the structure breaks.
