I run Kvåle Solutions (anglicized as Kvaale Solutions), an interdisciplinary studio offering web development, LaTeX typesetting, graphic design and general language services, including professional writing, copyediting, proofreading and localization. I focus on making good-looking, functional, simple and maintainable static sites with excellent SEO. • In graphic design, I specialize in styling websites, general brand stylization and logo creation. I make sure to keep almost everything vector-based for infinite scalability, and I can also vectorize certain raster images. I use tools like LaTeX, Inkscape and GIMP, plus other tools for quick proofs-of-concept. • My typesetting can be fully custom or compliant with university or industry standards, like revtex4-2, IEEEtran and elsarticle. I utilize packages like tikz, pgfplots and expl3, plus external tools, to make diagrams, plots and graphs. Lastly, I use BibTeX for bibliographies. • My general language services include professional writing, copyediting, proofreading and localization—both of technical and literary documents. I can process your source files and deliver the new files with an identical appearance, or if desired, an improved appearance. • Localization is limited to English and Norwegian, including all varieties of English and both written forms of Norwegian—Bokmål and Nynorsk. Beyond that, I'm at a B2+ level in Spanish, I understand Danish and Swedish and I'm at an A1 level in German. • Lastly, I also offer consulting and tutoring. I have tutored adults in English and Norwegian, and I have tutored students in mathematics, grades 3 through 12.
