Joanna B.

I help museums, cultural organizations, social impact organizations, and learning teams turn good ideas into sustainable programs, systems, and experiences. My work focuses on capacity-building: helping organizations make their people, resources, and ideas work better together. I can step in to develop a new program, strengthen an existing one, untangle a complex project, or build the tools and processes your team needs to carry the work forward. My background spans museum education, informal learning, program and project management, interpretation, research, and organizational development. I'm especially good at taking complex or messy problems, finding the underlying structure, and turning them into practical, usable solutions. I can help with: + Program and curriculum development + Strategic and interpretive planning + Project planning and implementation + Organizational systems, workflows, and toolkits + Research, evaluation, and audience engagement + Content development and organizational storytelling + Staff, educator, and volunteer training + Grant writing and partnership building I also bring strong communication and facilitation skills, along with experience as a presenter, facilitator, and voice actor (useful when a project needs to move beyond a plan and become something people can actually engage with). Whether you need a thought partner, an extra set of hands, or someone to take a complex project from concept through implementation and evaluation, I'll leave your organization with more capacity than it started with. Regular communication is important to me, so let's keep in touch throughout the project.
