Japan Market Entry Partner | Lead Lists, Outreach & Local Coordination

I build Japan-specific data: lead lists, decision-maker contacts and market research, with the source of every row shown. Entering Japan means dealing with people, paperwork, and processes that all run in Japanese. I'm your partner on the ground: finding and reaching buyers, and coordinating the professionals and procedures you'll need along the way. WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU 1. Market research: competitors, price ranges, and buying habits in your target segment in Japan. 2. Lead lists and decision-maker contacts: target company lists, plus names, titles, and verified emails of the people who actually decide, delivered as spreadsheets where every row shows its source. 3. Outreach that reads naturally in Japan: writing, localizing, and reviewing cold emails and follow-up sequences for Japanese readers. 4. Sales operations (available on request): sending emails in Japanese on your behalf, first-line replies, scheduling meetings, and preparing materials before calls. Joining phone calls or meetings as a Japanese interpreter / sales support can also be arranged. 5. Back-office setup and automation for your Japan entity: setting up and streamlining finance, HR, and admin work, including workflow automation with n8n, Python, and AI tools. 6. Local coordinator in Japan: introducing reasonably priced, licensed professionals when you need them (accountants, tax accountants, lawyers, administrative scriveners), guiding you through administrative procedures (what is needed, in what order, who handles each step), and coordinating and interpreting between you and them. Official filings and legal or tax advice are handled by the licensed professionals themselves. RECENT WORK ON UPWORK • International schools in Japan (education-sector client): screened 136 schools and recorded 411 pages. 55 of the 61 staff found had no published email; I left those cells empty and said so instead of guessing. • Japanese hotel contacts (hospitality client): started with a paid 10-contact pilot across 7 operating companies, then a contact list for 304 hotels in Japan, delivered and paid. • Cold email review (same hospitality client): reviewed their 4-email outreach sequence to Japanese hotels and returned a rewritten version with the reason behind each change. OTHER WORK • Built a 1,000-row list of Japanese food trading companies. Every row quotes the page text that qualified it and links to that page. My first version failed my own audit, so I rebuilt it and checked 150 random rows against their sources until none failed. • Two 1,000-row lists for the same client in Japan: first companies found through job listings, then PR-department contacts for companies that had issued press releases. The second order came after the first was delivered. • A demand-forecasting proof of concept for a client on Upwork (delivered and accepted; client name and sector withheld). Where a simple baseline won, the report says so. HOW I WORK • A small paid sample first, with the realistic hit rate, before the full batch. • What I could not confirm is flagged, not filled in. Guessed email patterns are labelled as such. • Numbers and sources are re-checked in a separate pass before delivery. • Fixed-price milestones and monthly retainers are welcome. BACKGROUND 16 years in corporate back offices and consulting in Japan: accounting (quarterly close, disclosure, external-audit liaison, J-SOX), corporate planning (budgets, mid-term plans), and HR and general affairs, including running internal audits. That is where the habit of keeping evidence for every number comes from. Native Japanese; TOEIC 845 and EIKEN Pre-1 in English. Waseda University, School of Political Science and Economics. AVAILABILITY 30+ hours a week. Available for calls in early mornings and evenings Japan time, so I can meet during business hours for clients in the US and Europe. TOOLS Python (pandas), n8n, Excel and Google Sheets. I use AI tools to work faster, and every fact I deliver is checked against its source. Tell me who you want to reach in Japan. I'll reply with how I'd approach it and a fixed-price quote.
