Chelsea S.

I'm a software developer experienced in working remotely and building full stack, responsive, modern web applications. I've worked at a successful startup that went public (Surf Air Mobility), a FAANG company (AWS), and independently as a freelancer and for myself (see Upwork history; and I developed and maintain Documatic, a small-business web app extending Google Docs). I'm also active in open-source development; I own and maintain an open-source web app called Cost Sharing for YNAB (costsharingforynab.com, github.com/chelseaSchmidt/cost-sharing-for-ynab), and I'm a primary contributor to a web app called War of the Ring Community (waroftheringcommunity.net, github.com/sirrus233/wotr-community-website). I'm fluent in the TypeScript + React + Node stack, but I also have experience in Java, Python, and Haskell. Additionally, I have experience using GraphQL, working with SQL and NoSQL databases, containerization with Docker, and using cloud services for hosting and deployment (Google Cloud Platform and AWS).
