I am a Japanese writer, translator, and narrator (voice recording) based in Da Nang, Vietnam. I was born and raised in Tokyo, so my Japanese is standard Japanese. 【My Background】 Before freelancing, I worked at Recruit Co., Ltd. for 13 years. I was an inside sales team leader for SUUMO, Recruit's real estate website, and I talked with clients by phone and email every day. I also listened to recordings of customer calls handled by other team members and scored them for wording, politeness, and tone. I worked fully remotely for more than five of those years, so remote work and online communication are natural for me. I also ran my own online handmade shop for five years. I wrote all the product copy and ran the ads myself, and the shop grew to more than 1,000 sales. Since I moved to Da Nang, I have also worked as a travel advisor for Japanese travelers. Before their trips, I talk with them online and ask questions to understand what they really want, then I build a plan that fits them. In the past year, I have supported more than 100 trips, and I also help travelers on the ground during their stay. Understanding what clients I have never met really need, from messages alone, is a skill I learned at Recruit. That is why my Vietnam research is practical: I know what travelers really ask, what they worry about, and what they need to know. 【What I Can Do】 Since last year, I have been freelancing on Upwork. My main work here is writing SEO articles for Japan travel websites, recording Japanese voice projects, and editing Google Maps information as a Local Guide (Level 8). 1. SEO Travel Writing and Local Research - Travel content about Japan: Tokyo, Miyagi (Tohoku), Kyushu, and other areas I know from my own travels around Japan. - Local research in Vietnam, where I live now: I visit places in Da Nang and Central Vietnam in person and check prices, opening hours, and the real situation, with photos. - Google Maps and local business listing research (Google Local Guide, Level 8). 2. Japanese Voice Recording and Language Checking - Clear, natural Japanese voice recordings in standard Japanese, and voice samples (I have completed voice recording projects on Upwork). - Language checking for voice and text (for example, listening to recorded Japanese and checking if it sounds natural). 3. Japanese Translation and Quality Checks - English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation that is accurate and natural. - Proofreading and quality checks of Japanese texts. 4. E-commerce Copy and Listings - Japanese product listings and copy for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, and Japanese shopping sites. - I ran my own shop for five years, so I know how to write copy that makes people want to buy. 【My Working Style】 - I reply quickly and clearly, and I ask questions early if something is not clear. - Understanding a client's real needs is my specialty.
