Basma G.

Hi, I’m Basma 👋 I’m a professional children’s book illustrator and graphic designer, helping authors turn their stories into books that feel warm, engaging, and truly connected to the story. I can take care of the visual side of your book from start to finish, whether you need illustrations, character development, cover design, interior layout, or final print-ready files. I work closely with authors throughout the process because I believe the best results come from understanding the story and the characters before jumping into the artwork. WHAT I CAN HELP WITH • Children’s book illustrations • Full-page and double-page spreads • Spot and chapter illustrations • Character design and character sheets • Storyboards and visual planning • Front, back, and spine cover design • Interior layout and typesetting • Paperback, hardcover, and eBook formatting • KDP, IngramSpark, and Lulu-ready files • Kindle eBook formatting • Amazon A+ Content and promotional graphics • Book mockups and marketing materials • High-resolution PNG, JPG, PDF, and editable source files Finding the Right Style for Your Story I don’t believe every children’s book should look the same. The illustration style should fit the story, characters, age group, and feeling you're trying to create. I work in different styles, including: • Whimsical cartoon illustration • Soft watercolor • Traditional storybook artwork • Painterly digital illustration • Clean, colorful modern styles • Minimal and hand-drawn artwork • Comic and graphic-novel styles If you already have an established style or an existing book series, I can also match the characters, proportions, colors, linework, and overall look so everything feels consistent from page to page. From Artwork to Finished Book Good illustrations are only part of the process. I also pay close attention to the actual book production, making sure the final files are properly set up for printing and publishing. I can handle trim sizes, bleed, margins, page layout, resolution, color setup, spine calculations, typography, and final print-ready PDFs for platforms such as KDP, IngramSpark, and Lulu. Whether you already have the artwork and only need the book designed, or you need someone to take the project from manuscript to finished publication, I can adapt to what you need. If you have a story you're working on, feel free to send it my way. I'd love to hear about it and see what we can create together. 📬 Message me today to get started! children’s book illustrator, flyer designer, graphic designer, cover art, poster design, character design, Procreate illustrator, Adobe designer, print-ready graphics, brochure designer, branding illustration, KDP children’s book layout AT YOUR SERVICE!
