Rene F.

I am a sports data specialist and Computer Engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. My career started at InStat (Hudl, Wyscout), where I worked for four years as a analyst/tagger/labeler of data for soccer and ice hockey. I quickly grew into a Team Manager and Trainer, handling the onboarding of new analysts and ensuring strict quality control. Currently, I work as a Regional Operations Manager for a major European sports tech company. I manage a highly trained, dedicated team of 50+ analysts in Latin America, processing thousands of hours of fast-paced sports footage every month. Depending on your project needs, we can work together in two ways: 1. Solo Expert Work: For highly complex or smaller projects, I will handle the tagging and data entry myself. Because my daily job involves performing Quality Assurance (QA) on the work of 50 people, my personal attention to detail and understanding of game logic (tactical shifts, fouls, specific player tracking) is extremely sharp. 2. Large Volume / Managed Team: If you have massive datasets to process (Padel, Rugby, Hockey, Soccer, Basketball) and need reliable scale, I can bring in my best analysts. I handle all the scheduling, training, and final QA. You only communicate with me, and I deliver the clean, verified data. As an added value, I write custom Python and JavaScript scripts to automate repetitive tasks (like video rendering or data formatting), which saves a significant amount of delivery time. Feel free to send me a message if you need someone reliable to handle your sports data.
