Brand Identity Designer | Logo, Packaging & Product Line Systems
I build brand identities for physical product companies, and I stay on through packaging, the second and third SKU, the Amazon listing and the website. Most of my work starts with a logo and ends as a system that has to survive print. That last part is where identity work quietly fails. A mark that looks right on screen can fall apart at one inch on a jar, lose its contrast under a required disclosure panel, or leave no room for the allergen list. So I design for the smallest, hardest surface first. Everything larger is then straightforward. What that usually looks like: The foundation. Logo and wordmark drawn as true vector, a type system, a palette that is print safe from day one, and a guidelines document your printer or your next designer can follow without calling you. The packaging. Artwork to your supplier's dieline, front, sides, back and base. Compliance marks designed into the panel from the first layout rather than added at the end. Print ready files, correct bleed and marks. The range. Second and third SKUs built off decisions already made, so the line reads as one family on a shelf. Cartons, labels, refills, outers. Where it sells. Amazon A+ modules and listing images, storefront banners, and the website when it is time. How I work. You see several real directions inside 24 to 36 hours, not one finished thing at the end. Direction is agreed in words before real effort goes in, which is why revisions rarely run long. And anything I can see coming that will cost you money later, a regulated word, a trademark still in application, a panel that will not hold the required type, I raise it before it becomes a reprint. Six years of this and 300+ completed projects here, a lot of them files that went to a real press. Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma. If you are somewhere in this, tell me what you are making and what the first surface is. I will tell you honestly whether it is a fit.
