Danielle M.
Clinically Trained Medical Writer, Health Presenter & Strategist
Complex healthcare content usually needs the strategy solved before the writing starts. I help pharmaceutical, digital health and healthcare teams turn evidence, audience insight and commercial goals into clear content strategies, patient journeys and credible content. Most recently, I completed a 412-hour, five-star engagement embedded with UCB as a content strategist, supporting global omnichannel content, modular systems and scalable content experiences. My recent pharmaceutical work has also included audience segmentation, behavioural insight, information architecture and reusable content strategy for UK prescribed-patient communications. My background combines 18+ years in senior content, brand and communications roles with an MA (Hons) in Psychology and final-year MSc Adult Nursing training, including more than 2,000 hours of supervised clinical practice. I understand how people process risk and make health decisions, as well as how healthcare feels and functions in practice. I work across strategy and execution, including: • Healthcare and pharmaceutical content strategy • Audience segmentation and patient journeys • Content audits, information architecture and roadmaps • Messaging frameworks and modular content systems • Patient-facing and HCP communications • Evidence-led articles and thought leadership • Video scripts and on-camera presenting • UX content and website copy • Fractional content leadership and strategic support Clients typically bring me in when a brief is evidence-heavy, strategically unclear or involves multiple audiences and stakeholders. I can interrogate the problem, find the structure and carry the work through into clear, human content. Tell me what you’re working on, and I’ll be straight with you about whether I’m the right fit.
