I am a professor, researcher, and creative content writer passionate about the intersections between language, literature, and communication. My work moves fluidly between academia, education, and digital culture — always driven by a deep interest in storytelling as a way of building knowledge, connection, and meaning. With a PhD (with distinction and honors) in Comparative Studies of Literatures in Portuguese, my academic research explores interdisciplinary dialogues between Literature, Language, and Medicine. My doctoral thesis, Poética da Clínica, approaches the clinical encounter not merely as a narrative exchange, but as a dramatic scene: a space of presence, gesture, voice, and archetypal forces. Drawing on Greek mythology and literary studies, I explore how the clinical consultation can be understood as a performative space, where different subjectivities meet and where language becomes action, tension, and revelation. Alongside my academic work, I have been a teacher for almost 20 years and I have developed extensive experience in content creation for educational and cultural projects. I collaborate weekly with Cambridge University Press & Assessment, writing comic strip for the series "Ô teacher", designed to reflect upon language learning through humor. I also work with proofreading, copywriting, and content editing — especially for social media and marketing campaigns. This includes writing, editing, and recording Reels and video content, always with a focus on clear, creative, and human-centered communication. As part of this work, I am particularly interested in critical translation — not only across languages, but across cultures and ways of knowing. I see translation as a creative practice of mediation: transforming complex ideas into accessible and meaningful communication for diverse audiences. Throughout my career — whether in the classroom, research, translation, or content creation — I am committed to fostering critical thinking, dialogue, and curiosity. I believe language is always an invitation: to listen, to imagine, and to transform.
