Experienced CFD engineer/analyst who has worked in both a research/academic (7 years) and industry setting (8 years). Over 15 years of experience with CFD tools/software (especially Ansys Fluent) and LES combustion code C3D from Sandia National Labs as well as OpenFOAM. During my PhD and post doctoral research, my focus was primarily on developing global reduced chemistry models for coal, natural gas and biomass combustion for various industrial applications with a focus on the energy sector. Have worked on projects in the energy, process and oil & gas industries with an emphasis on turbulent flows with chemical reactions and combustion. Also have experience with modeling multiphase flows using Euler-Lagrange and Euler-Euler modalities. Have contributed to the establishment of API standards for multi-point ground flares with analyses work performed for clients.
