Haruki Y.

Hello! I’m a passionate early childhood educator with a strong background in both education and travel. My experiences span from classrooms to outdoor camps, and from local childcare centers to international tourism. I majored in Early Childhood Education at university, where I also volunteered as a youth leader with the YMCA. Through this, I gained hands-on experience in working with children and organizing outdoor activities. During my university years, I traveled to 18 countries as a backpacker, developing strong planning, problem-solving, and intercultural communication skills along the way. I took a one-year break from university to participate in a working holiday in Canada, where I earned a TESOL certificate focused on teaching English to young learners. While in Canada, I also interned at a local travel agency, gaining practical business experience in the tourism industry. After graduation, I worked for three years at a kindergarten and two years at a nursery school in Japan, supporting the development of children in their early years with care and creativity. Since 2019, I have been organizing and leading tours for international visitors to Japan, introducing them to Japanese culture and local destinations with thoughtful, engaging experiences. I’ve also traveled extensively throughout Japan, giving me deep insight into both major and lesser-known regions across the country. What I Offer: Content creation or translation related to early childhood education Writing about travel, culture, and cross-cultural communication Tour planning and consulting for inbound visitors to Japan Educational resource development, especially for young learners Ideas and planning support for education × tourism projects Let’s connect and create something meaningful together!
