I have backgrounds in both education and writing, and am excited to use both to develop new solutions. In education, I have 28 years of experience as a high school English teacher, Assistant Principal, Digital Learning Coordinator and Data and Assessment Coordinator. I have a doctorate in Educational Leadership, and received National Board Certification. Outside of the classroom, I have extensive experience with data management, curriculum development, and instructional technology.I have a proven track record of leading initiatives that grow collaboration, support staff development, and utilize technology to enhance teaching practices. Throughout all of this, I am also a writer and editor who has successfully taught creative writing, worked one-on-one with authors, and served as both a beta reader and developmental editor.
