Need a Revit model and drawing set your builder can actually build from? I'm Simon, a Norwegian architect (MSc Architecture, TU Delft, cum laude) and Top Rated Plus on Upwork. I take small buildings from sketch to construction set: cabins, family homes, extensions, outbuildings, prefab timber units and hospitality layouts. Most of my work is Revit models and full drawing sets, with plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules. I've done permit and building application drawings in Norway, the Netherlands, Portugal and Brazil, and when a project is somewhere new I read up on the local code first. I've also drawn manufacturing drawings for prefab timber cabins, and I often model existing buildings from surveys, old drawings and site photos. For early design I use Rhino and Grasshopper, and I still build physical models and 3D prints when a client needs to see the space for real. You get RVT, DWG, IFC and PDF files with clear names. I'm quick because I run Revit through Claude and pyRevit, and I've added my own features to pyRevit where it fell short. Walls, grids, columns, roofs and view setups go in by script, and then I check every element against the drawings myself. On repetitive modelling that cuts a lot of hours, so you pay for fewer of them. Send me the brief, the site and a few references, and I'll come back with a short plan and an estimate. After a quick first pass we check in weekly, and at the end you get organised files with short handover notes. I'm based in Norway and spend part of the year in Brazil, so I overlap with European hours and the US morning. Permits: I prepare permit-ready drawings. Where your area needs a locally licensed architect or engineer to stamp them, they do that final sign-off.
