Political Consulting, Campaign Management, and Government Relations

About Eric, Founder of Western Slope Political I’m a political consultant and disabled veteran who started Western Slope Political to help campaigns communicate clearly, stay organized, and understand both their voters and the political landscape they’re operating in. I work with candidates, advocacy groups, and organizing teams to develop authentic canvassing scripts, phone banking guides, and volunteer messaging that feel human and actually move people. A core part of my work is political and legislative research. I track how elected officials vote, speak, and position themselves across issues by reviewing floor votes, committee hearings, public records, and media coverage. I go beyond surface-level summaries to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and underlying political strategy, then translate that into clear, usable insights for campaigns, advocacy efforts, and communications teams. Whether it’s building opposition research, analyzing policy trends, or producing research-backed content, I focus on accuracy, sourcing, and making complex information easy to understand. My services cover a wide range of campaign needs. I provide public relations and lobbying support, press outreach, email writing, fundraising copy, and message development. I also help campaigns get the most out of digital tools like VAN, Solidarity Tech, Hustle, Action Network, and other voter contact platforms. When needed, I build contact lists, create press materials, organize campaign calendars, and produce clean, ready-to-use documents for field, data, and communication plans. I’m comfortable collaborating with teams at any stage, whether you’re launching your first race or refining a statewide or issue-based effort. I take a practical, steady, team-focused approach and enjoy working with people who want to improve their communities and make their politics more responsive. Based in Grand Junction, I bring over a decade of experience in field organizing, voter engagement, political research, and campaign strategy to every project. My goal is to help campaigns stay focused, effective, and grounded while building real connections with voters and making informed strategic decisions.
