Ozan T.
AI Video Specialist | Filmmaker & Creative Director | Commercials
🏆 Award-winning film director and AI video specialist creating cinematic commercials, brand films and visual stories from concept to final delivery. 🎬 Selected brand work includes Burger King, Subway, Best Publishing and Kınık. 🇹🇷 Creator of Turkey’s first narrative AI film, The Shadow of Darkness (2025). I don’t begin with a prompt. I begin with an idea. I’m Ozan — a film director, screenwriter and creative director based in Istanbul. Before generative AI became part of my work, I had already spent years directing and writing independent films and documentaries. I co-founded Memoria Film, working as a director, screenwriter and producer across narrative, documentary and digital projects. My documentary Salman Wants to Go premiered in the Main Competition of the 31st dokumentART European Film Festival and won Best International Documentary at DOC.Coimbra. My earlier short films have also screened at national and international festivals. That filmmaking background shapes the way I approach commercial work today. For brand projects, I begin by finding the central idea: what the audience should feel, where attention should go, how the product needs to appear and what should remain after the film ends. From there, I develop the concept, story, visual language and production system around the film. WHAT I CREATE ✓ Cinematic commercials and branded films ✓ Creative concepts, scripts, treatments and storyboards ✓ Narrative, documentary, historical, cultural and educational films ✓ 2D, 3D and AI-driven animation ✓ Characters, environments and visual worlds ✓ Product-focused campaign visuals ✓ Editing, pacing and sound design For multi-scene projects, I build a consistent visual system covering character identity, facial details, wardrobe, products, locations, lighting, color, camera language and movement. This keeps the film coherent instead of feeling like a collection of disconnected generated shots. My toolkit includes Veo, Kling, Seedance, Runway, Higgsfield, Luma AI, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, Magnific, ElevenLabs, Suno, Topaz Labs, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and DaVinci Resolve. My workflow is fast because I make the important creative decisions before production — not because I skip them. For me, AI is not a shortcut. It is another filmmaking medium. The tools may change, but the fundamentals remain the same: a strong idea, clear storytelling, visual intelligence, rhythm and direction. I also teach AI filmmaking classes in Istanbul, focusing on creative development, visual storytelling and director-led production. IDEA → STORY → WORLD → FILM Send me your brief, references, format and deadline. I’ll respond with a clear creative approach, production plan and relevant portfolio examples.
