I'm a bilingual researcher and writer with a background in political science and investigative journalism. My work sits at the intersection of research and storytelling: I find what's worth covering, dig into it, and shape it into content that works for a specific audience. Over the past years I've covered complex subjects in Colombian media — organized crime, urban security, political participation — where getting the story right meant navigating fragmented sources, cross-referencing public records, and building coherent narratives out of incomplete information. That discipline carries into everything I do. Currently I write and edit news and editorial content for an Australian tradesman publication, handling the full cycle from story sourcing and research to writing, copy, and publication. I also work as a content researcher for a YouTube documentary channel focused on music and culture, supporting story development, deep-dive research, and the investigative groundwork that scripts are built on. On any given project I can help with research and story sourcing across complex or niche topics, editorial writing adapted to specific audiences, content research and narrative development for video and audio productions, and bilingual delivery in English and Spanish when the work calls for it. I work independently, adapt to new subjects fast, and take the brief seriously before anything gets written.
