Vilde Sofie M.

With a background in Visual Communication and experience from startups, I work at the intersection of QA and UX. My path into testing started because I noticed how much gets lost in translation between design and implementation. To bridge this gap, I began going into DevTools to tweak the CSS myself, handing the exact changes directly over to the developers so they could fix things instantly without the back-and-forth. This approach is what sets me apart from purely technical testers. Over the past few years, I’ve caught and reported thousands of bugs across SaaS and AI-coded platforms. My focus is on thorough manual testing, making sure everything functions exactly how it's supposed to, the links and buttons actually work, and the software behaves logically. At the same time, I naturally spot the UI UX issues and usability flaws that others completely miss. I’m used to working on my own as the main manual QA tester in small, fast-paced teams using bug tracking tools like Trello and Linear. I’m both a developer's dream and their greatest fear, because I genuinely love trying to break things! ;) I don't just follow the "happy path"; I purposefully do the things a user shouldn't do, but will. From running functional testing on critical fintech conversion funnels to shipping real-time web apps, I test across different browsers and physical devices to make sure everything works seamlessly before release.
