Janibeth O.

I am a trained fine artist and graphic designer. Conveying ideas and messaging through visuals is something I love to do. I have over nine years of experience teaching art and English at the high school level. I stepped away from that career to raise my four children. During that time I also started and grew my own art business and have worked with designers and clients to create custom works of art that add a little extra joy or happiness to my clients’ lives. Now that my youngest will be going to school soon, I recently worked to obtain a graphic design degree to pursue a new career field because I have helped facilitate visual communication for many years through my art business, church, organizations in our community and have a passion to create visuals and effective messaging. During my years of teaching, I was able to organize, lead, and inspire through art. I have leadership experience, am organized, work well with others, and am self-motivated. Having my own business has also reinforced for me the importance of art and visual design. Applying what I have learned through these careers and communicating through creative visual content in the field of graphic design is important to me. I am looking forward to many years of diverse experience with this new opportunity!
