Davey P.

I can take your manuscript and bring it to the world as the physical, tangible, beautifully designed book you have always imagined: an industry-standard trade paperback, hardcover, or e-book/Kindle that you and your readers will love to hold. But the book is only half the story. I also set your title up for the places books are actually sold. KDP gets you onto Amazon. IngramSpark is the route bookstores and libraries order from, and it opens the door to online retailers like Barnes & Noble, along with options KDP doesn't offer, such as hardcovers with dust jackets and a higher standard of print quality. Ingram is a different world, with strict file specifications, separate cover requirements, and ISBN and metadata rules. Most authors can't navigate it alone, and that's exactly what I do. WHAT I DO: • Manuscript formatting and proofreading • Interior layout for print and e-book (EPUB/Kindle) • Cover design, including full wraps, hardcovers, and dust jackets • IngramSpark and KDP setup: print-ready files, ISBN and metadata guidance, and account setup • Fixing files that have been rejected by Ingram or KDP • Helping you choose the right route for your goals before you spend money HOW I WORK: I'll tell you plainly what each route can and can't do. Setting your book up through Ingram makes it orderable by bookstores. Each store decides for itself what to shelve, so I never promise what I can't control, and I'll always be honest with you about what to expect. That said, what I do know is the best possible way to set your book up for success. TRACK RECORD: 100% job completion and 6 five-star reviews. Send me your manuscript via Upwork's message platform and tell me where you want your book to be sold, and I'll recommend the best route.
