Understand the business I start by understanding the brand, products, target customers, competitors, and the main goal of the store. This helps ensure the design decisions support the business rather than simply following trends. 2. Plan the store structure I organize the homepage, navigation, collections, product pages, essential pages, and customer journey so visitors can find what they need quickly and move naturally toward purchase. 3. Design with UX and conversion in mind I focus on clear hierarchy, strong product presentation, intuitive navigation, effective calls-to-action, trust elements, and a friction-free shopping experience. The goal is to create a store that is both visually polished and commercially practical. 4. Build and customize in Shopify I work with Shopify themes, sections, responsive layouts, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Shopify apps where required to turn the planned structure into a functional storefront. 5. Optimize for mobile and desktop Every important section is checked across mobile and desktop. I prioritize mobile-first usability while making sure the full experience remains consistent across devices. 6. Apply SEO-friendly structure Where appropriate, I build with basic e-commerce SEO in mind, including clean headings, product titles, descriptions, URLs, image alt text, metadata, collection structure, and internal page organization. 7. Test and QA before launch Before handoff, I check the store's navigation, product pages, variants, buttons, forms, cart, checkout flow, responsiveness, and important functionality to identify issues before customers encounter them.
