Every video has two jobs: get the click, then keep the viewer. I edit for both. I'm Ahtasham, a YouTube video editor with 4+ years of experience focused on retention driven editing, and I've helped channels grow past 100K subscribers by treating every cut, hook, and pacing decision as a growth lever. My specialty is editing that performs in the analytics, not just looks good. I study retention graphs, then edit accordingly: strong hooks in the first seconds, tight pacing with zero dead air, pattern breaks that stop drop off, and endings that push viewers to the next video.
