Product & Hardware Systems Architect | Design, Integration

I design and architect physical products—integrating complex systems into working, manufacturable hardware. My work sits at the intersection of mechanical engineering and industrial design, focused on real-world constraints: packaging, interfaces, and turning ambiguous concepts into buildable products. I work at the system level—aligning mechanical, electrical, and product decisions into cohesive, buildable systems. ⸻ What I Do • Systems integration, product architecture, and feasibility evaluation • Hardware product development (concept → production) • Independent engineering reviews and product direction • Enclosure design (consumer, industrial, ruggedized) • Mechanisms, structures, and internal packaging • Manufacturing handoff (drawings, BOMs, vendors) • Prototyping (3D printing, CNC, validation) • CAD and DFM (Fusion 360 / Onshape) ⸻ Systems Integration & Product Architecture I help teams resolve cross-disciplinary challenges early—before they become expensive problems. Whether evaluating an existing concept or developing a new one, I identify architectural risks, validate assumptions, and help teams make better engineering decisions before committing to prototypes or tooling. • Leading system-level design decisions across disciplines • Packaging, tolerance, and interface resolution • Enclosure strategy for complex I/O and environments • Manufacturability and assembly evaluation • Identifying risks before prototyping or production ⸻ Industrial Design I also design consumer-facing products where form, proportion, and design language matter—ensuring aesthetics and engineering are developed together. ⸻ Relevant Experience • Ruggedized RF Enclosure & System Integration • Darwin Machine – CNC aluminum chassis (WIRED, IDEA finalist) • OnCamber – patented performance suspension system (SEMA) • Independent hardware feasibility studies and product architecture evaluations ⸻ How I Work I operate as an embedded design and engineering partner—not just a CAD resource. I focus on making early decisions that reduce downstream issues and turning ambiguous concepts into clear, buildable systems. ⸻ If you’re building hardware and need someone who can take it from concept through integration into something real and manufacturable, I can help.
